Antique Button Rings
Had a blast recently making these adjustable rings inset with antique and vintage buttons from my vast collection...by the way the hand model is a vintage mannequin hand! https://www.etsy.com/shop/capecottagedesigns

Mini Painting Pendants
I've been working on more of my mini painting pendants. These are all landscapes of Cape Cod. First I create a 1"x1" watercolor painting, then scan in high resolution and have copies made, then I go over each one with artist grade colored pencils so that each is unique. Finally I wrap and solder each and solder a sterling silver bail. I plan on working on some other ideas: flowers..whatever else catches my fancy!

Different Strokes...
Dreaming of Running Away....
Does anyone else get the urge to run away and hole up somewhere (preferable someplace warm!) to rest the mind and body while at the same time work on their art/craft? I'm getting that urge. It's getting quite cold and grey here in the Northeast, my day job is physically and mentally draining, so that when I do have time off I find I have no energy, never mind gumption, to do my other job, which is to create new art and/or jewelry.
Of course if I did fly off to a warm island somewhere, how would I transport all my BEADS???!!!

What I've been up to
It's been awhile due to family circumstances...
This is what I've been working on over the last few months due to the fact that I've actually sold some and they get the most 'views' on my etsy site (http://etsy.com/shop/capecottagedesigns)
Hope you like! I am making them in different color combos, with all silver beads, and with all black beads, they are felt ball beads beaded with glass beads on black stretchy cord....

Pinterest Rocks!!!

Check out pinterest.com if you haven't already, it's pretty fabulous. No matter what your interests are you can share and promote there, as well as just keep track of visuals you've seen online that are of special interest to you. You create boards by category, whatever you want...
